Successful digitalization requires not only strong competencies in executing IT projects but also sharp skills in implementing and embedding the changes that, together with new digital opportunities, create the sustained value of digitalization within the organization.

I have always been interested in how we can establish the conditions for realizing genuine value from projects and programs in complex organizations, where many stakeholders collectively need to transition from their current state to the organization's desired future state – and then sustain that change within the organization.

This is the core of WayForward, where we assist organizations in successfully organizing, planning, managing, and shaping their digitalization efforts, ensuring that organizational change goes hand in hand with the development of technological initiatives. This necessitates that the entire change and implementation effort is considered and prioritized from the outset, keeping the business focus continuously at the center and allowing the organizational maturity process to occur in parallel with the preparations for the technological solution.

I have been privileged to draw upon experience from prominent roles I have held in several large public sector digitalization programs, including the Danish National Health Platform ("Sundhedsplatformen") and various digitalization projects under the Danish Ministry of Finance.

As a consultant, I am often recognized for my ability to establish clear direction and frameworks by translating project strategies and visions into concrete actions and optimization initiatives. Simultaneously, I have significant experience in engaging and motivating all levels of the organization to work with implementation and the change initiatives necessary for their specific area.

Experiences from one context can never be directly transferred to another; however, experience and learning can provide a foundation for understanding and finding solutions to complex challenges in new projects.
